During my visit in Atlanta I went to a Anglican Missions church. The passage on Sunday was about how Jesus healed a blind man by making mud to smear on a blind man's eye to restore his sight. It made me think about the importance of sight and focus in life. I was thankful to have a weekend to refocus. Just like in taking a picture, in life we need time to refocus. It made me think of the verse in Hebrews"Let us FIX OUR EYES on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith..." Hebrews 12:2

Atlanta 2011
So this weekend I hung out with my sister Brittany who is living in inner-city Atlanta as a way to reach out to others. It is a missions trip and a bit out of my comfort at times when I visit. A cool collide in cultures and I quickly become the minority (which I secretly love). This picture was taken on a whim when Britt was goofing off as usual. However, I loved how this picture verse seems to capture this truth. P.S. The girl in the picture is my sister.

One Way
On a recent field trip with friends we explored downtown Fayetteville (which is more charming than I thought). I ran across this exposed brick wall, the character and texture just made me take this shot. There is something very beautiful and rugged at the same time about it. The one way sign reminds me that there is one way to God through Jesus (John 14:6).
